Hall of Fame - 2011
Rosalie began her bowling career in 1941 in the Peoria Women’s Bowling Association at Bowl Mor Lanes.
Rosalie currently bowls in four leagues and they include the Thursday Fall Seniors, Thursday Winter Seniors, Tuesday Bowlettes and Summer Seniors.
She lists her highest average as over 140 and her highest game as over 200. She stated that she has had a very few 600 Series as she is just an average bowler who really enjoyed being with friends and was able to participate in the sport that she was a success.
She has bowled in many Peoria USBC WBA city tournaments and has been a participant in the Joint Senior Tournament as well as the Illinois WBA State Tournament.
Rosalie and her husband owned and operated Purtschers Stables off of Big Hollow Road. They had ridding horses and also raised Shetland ponies. Her husband is now deceased and Rosalie resides at Lutheran Hillside Village.
The Peoria USBC WBA take great pleasure in presenting your 2011 Pioneer Bowler, Rosalie Quisenberry.
